Tax Associate

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Tax Associate to join our dynamic team. As a Tax Associate, you will be responsible for various tax compliance, reporting, and advisory tasks to support our organization's tax objectives.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure accurate and timely filing of various tax returns, including income tax, VAT/GST, and other regulatory filings.
• Assist in tax planning initiatives to optimize the organization's tax position and minimize liabilities.
• Conduct research on tax issues, interpret tax laws, and provide recommendations to management based on findings.
• Maintain organized tax records, documentation, and correspondence with tax authorities.
• Support tax audits and reviews by external auditors or tax authorities, including responding to inquiries and providing necessary documentation.
• Provide tax-related advice and support to internal stakeholders on business transactions, contracts, and operational matters.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Part-qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) or Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA).
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in tax compliance, tax planning, or related field.
• Strong understanding of tax regulations, laws, and principles.
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
