Job Title: Senior Site Civil Engineer

Project Overview: We are managing an 18-storey multipurpose development covering 550,000 sqft. The structure is complete, and we are currently in the finishing stage, focusing on delivering high-quality results on time and within budget.

Position Summary: The Senior Site Civil Engineer will oversee the finishing works and ensure that all aspects of the project are completed to the highest standards of quality and safety. This role requires extensive experience in civil engineering, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to coordinate with various stakeholders effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Project Oversight: Manage and supervise all finishing works, ensuring compliance with design specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations.
2. Technical Leadership: Provide technical guidance and expertise to the project team, addressing any engineering-related issues that arise during the finishing phase.
3. Site Management: Monitor daily operations on-site, including scheduling, resource allocation, and progress tracking to ensure timely completion of project milestones.
4. Quality Assurance: Conduct regular inspections and quality checks to ensure that all work meets the required standards and specifications.
5. Collaboration: Liaise with architects, contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers to facilitate effective communication and problem-solving.
6. Documentation: Maintain accurate records of site activities, changes, and progress reports; prepare and present engineering reports as required.
7. Safety Management: Enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations on-site.
8. Budget Management: Assist in managing project budgets, including tracking expenditures and forecasting future costs related to finishing works.
9. Mentorship: Mentor junior engineers and site personnel, fostering a culture of learning and professional growth within the team.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
2. Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent certification is a plus.
3. Minimum 8-10 years of experience in civil engineering, with significant experience in large-scale construction projects.
4. Proven experience in managing finishing works in multi-storey buildings.
5. Strong knowledge of building codes, construction methods, and materials.
6. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think critically under pressure.
7. Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
8. Proficient in engineering software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, MS Project) and Microsoft Office Suite.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs70,000.00 - Rs80,000.00 per month
