Job Responsibilities:

  • Ensure timely and accurate filing of all tax returns (Income tax, SRB, etc.).
  • Monitor and interpret tax laws to ensure compliance.
  • Liaise with tax authorities and manage audits and inquiries.
  • Develop and implement tax planning strategies.
  • Analyze the tax impact of business operations and provide recommendations.
  • Assist in developing tax-efficient structures for new projects.
  • Prepare and present tax reports, highlighting significant outcomes.
  • Conduct variance analysis of tax provisions and payments.
  • Support the preparation of tax-related disclosures in financial statements.
  • Assist in preparing annual tax budgets and forecasts, and monitor and control tax budgets, identifying cost-saving areas.

  • Lead and manage the tax team, ensuring effective performance and development.
  • Collaborate with finance to integrate tax planning into overall strategies and drive tax-related projects and initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • ACA/FCMA/ACCA or equivalent with specialization in taxation.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a tax role, preferably in the textile industry.
  • Strong knowledge of tax laws and regulations.
