We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse to join our dynamic team of healthcare professionals onboard the Carnival Cruise Line.

As a Staff Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, making critical decisions, and leading on clinical issues within a person-centered care model.

Your duties and responsibilities will include diagnosing patients, identifying care requirements, understanding patients' needs, ensuring patient satisfaction, preparing patients for examinations, planning and performing routine diagnostic checks, monitoring and recording patients' conditions, documenting patients' progress, treating medical emergencies, administering nursing workloads, adhering to laws, rules, and regulations, and assisting with administrative tasks as needed.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Patient Assessment: Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical and emotional needs, identify care requirements, and develop personalized care plans.
  • Clinical Decision-Making: Make informed decisions regarding patient care, based on evidence-based practice and expert knowledge.
  • Nursing Management: Supervise and coordinate the delivery of nursing care, manage nursing workloads, and ensure continuity of care.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams, using clear and respectful language.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate and comprehensive records of patient care, including diagnoses, treatments, and outcomes.
