The WSE Evaluator plays a pivotal role in conducting comprehensive, participatory evaluations across TCF's 2,000+ school network. You will blend rigorous qualitative and quantitative methods—classroom observations, interviews, surveys, assessments, and document reviews—to co-generate insights with principals, teachers, and learners. Your analyses and recommendations will fuel continuous improvement, safeguard integrity and neutrality in the field, and elevate educational outcomes in under-resourced contexts. This role is a combination of researcher, storyteller, and change-maker—ideal for someone who thrives on intellectual challenge, variety, and real impact.
Your primary responsibility will be to conduct rigorous, insightful evaluations using the WSE framework to diagnose school performance and drive sustainable improvement. Key duties include:
- Data Collection & Synthesis: Gather rich, on-site evidence—classroom observations, student records, surveys, and documentation—and connect the dots to deliver accurate, evidence-based findings. Incorporate opportunities for constructive and thoughtful feedback throughout the process.
- Pattern Recognition & Analysis: Identify trends, correlations, and systemic gaps within datasets to draw well-founded conclusions about teaching, learning, and operations.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Facilitate trust-based meetings with principals, teachers, and learners to gather insights, validate findings, and foster co-ownership of evaluation outcomes.
- Report Preparation: Produce high-quality, concise evaluation reports in Urdu (and English if needed), outlining key strengths, areas for growth, and actionable recommendations.
- Feedback & Presentation: Share findings clearly with school leadership, ensuring mutual understanding and commitment to next steps.
- Sensitive Conversation Management: Handle divergent viewpoints professionally, impartially, and empathetically to maintain trust.
- Ethical Integrity: Uphold neutrality, fairness, transparency, and confidentiality, avoiding conflicts of interest.
- Resilience & Adaptability: Thrive under pressure, juggle priorities, meet deadlines, and remain flexible in dynamic environments without compromising objectivity.
- Prioritisation & Flexibility: Reassess and reprioritize tasks in real-time to respond to emergent needs, ensuring evaluation momentum.
- Research & Capacity Building: Support process improvements, contribute to tool development, and assist in training to enhance evaluation practices and program quality.
