Job Overview:

As a Local Search Specialist with expertise in Google My Business (GMB) and Apple Maps, you'll be instrumental in boosting the local search rankings of small and mid-sized businesses. Your role will involve developing and executing customized strategies, collaborating with team leads, and overseeing fulfillment efforts to enhance client visibility. Beyond optimizing listings, you'll contribute to shaping impactful campaigns while sharing insights that drive team growth and innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Local SEO Optimization: Develop and implement strategies to enhance SMB visibility on Google My Business (GMB) and Apple Maps.
  • Google My Business Management: Set up and manage GMB Organization accounts effectively. Handle GMB listing reinstatements for suspended or removed accounts. Create and publish engaging content on GMB to improve visibility and user interaction.
  • Apple Maps Optimization: Create, claim, and manage Apple Maps listings for businesses. Optimize profiles to improve local search rankings and enhance discoverability.
  • Business Citations & Data Management: Ensure accurate and consistent business citations across various directories. Maintain up-to-date NAP (Name, Address, Phone) information across all listings, understanding its crucial impact on local SEO.
  • Industry & Trend Monitoring: Stay informed on local search trends, algorithm updates, and best practices to refine strategies.
  • Collaboration & Training: Work closely with team leads to execute and refine local SEO strategies. Conduct training sessions, develop resources, and mentor team members to share insights and best practices.
  • Performance Analysis & Innovation: Track and analyze key performance metrics, making data-driven optimizations to enhance results. Bring fresh, creative ideas to strengthen and innovate local SEO campaigns.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of hands-on experience in Local SEO, specifically in GMB and Apple Maps management.
  • Strong English writing skills for creating engaging GMB content.
  • Proven ability to set up and manage GMB Organization accounts effectively.
  • Experience in handling GMB reinstatements for suspended or removed listings.
  • Expertise in creating, managing, and optimizing Apple Maps listings.
  • Deep understanding of NAP consistency and its role in local search rankings.
  • Ability to manage business citations across multiple directories.
  • Familiarity with SEO tools and analytics platforms like Google Analytics, Search Console, and other local SEO tools.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a data-driven mindset for campaign optimization.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills for both client and internal collaboration.
  • Availability to work night shifts.
