Job Summary:

We are hiring a Network & Endpoint Administrator to manage Burq's network infrastructure, enforce internet policies (including whitelisting/blacklisting sites), and resolve technical issues across devices (e.g., laptops, desktops). This role combines network security, policy compliance, and hands-on IT support to ensure seamless and secure operations.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Network & Security Management: Maintain and troubleshoot internet connectivity, firewalls, switches, and VPNs; implement website access policies; monitor for breaches using SIEM, IDS/IPS, and logs.
  • Endpoint Support: Diagnose and resolve hardware/software issues; perform repairs or coordinate hardware replacements; install and update software.
  • Policy Enforcement & Compliance: Enforce web filtering policies; monitor bandwidth usage; investigate violations and escalate as needed.
  • User Training & Assistance: Educate employees on IT policies; provide troubleshooting guidance.
  • Documentation & Reporting: Keep records of configurations, inventories, and violations; generate performance and security reports.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 3-5 years in network administration and endpoint support
  • Certifications: CCNA, CompTIA A+/Network+, CISSP, or similar
  • Technical Skills: Experience with firewalls (Cisco, Fortinet), troubleshooting Windows/macOS, Active Directory, MDM, remote support tools
  • Soft Skills: Strong communication, patience, attention to detail
Preferred Skills:
  • Scripting (Python, PowerShell)
  • Knowledge of compliance frameworks (ISO 27001)
  • Cloud endpoint management (Microsoft Intune, Jamf)
