BS / MCS / MS in Computer Science or Equivalent

Responsibilities
  • Review functional and design specifications to ensure full understanding of individual deliverable(s).
  • Identify test requirements from specifications, map test case requirements and design test coverage plan.
  • Develop, document and maintain functional test cases and other test artifacts e.g. test data, data validation, harness scripts and automated scripts.
  • Execute and evaluate manual / automated test cases and report test results.
  • Hold and facilitate test plan/case reviews with cross-functional team members.
  • Identify any potential quality issues per defined process and escalate potential quality issues immediately to management.
  • Ensure/validate deliverable(s) meet functional and design specifications and requirements.
  • Isolate, replicate, and report defects and verify defect fixes.

Functional/Technical Skills
  • Experience in Quality Management Software and Processes
  • Knowledge and experience in technical aspects of software solutions being tested
  • Business process understanding
  • Create clear, concise detail-oriented test plans/cases.
  • Ability to understand and create test plans from specifications or verbal communications.
  • Liaison with development team(s), project manager(s), and customer support.
  • Excellent Technical Writing Skill in English is a must.
Soft Skills
  • Clear communicator (written and verbal) with the ability to write test plans and test cases.
  • Report/communicate bugs to developers and other stakeholders.
  • Ability to understand technical problems and translate technical requirements into test plans.
  • Focused on deadlines and deliverables with the ability to find defects and bugs quickly.
Requirements:
  • BS / MCS / MS in Computer Science or Equivalent in a related discipline.
  • 3+ years of relevant QA technical experience.
