Role purpose

In this role, you will:

Responsibilities
  • Ensuring AGILE delivery practice and ways of working
  • Front and back end responsibility for product / application development
  • Co-ordinates release deployment and supports systems in production
  • Interpret requirements, provide estimations and participate in agile development project lifecycles
  • End to end accountability for a GT IT product or service, identifying and developing the most appropriate technology solutions to meet customer needs as part of the Customer Journey
  • Troubleshoot defects and come up with sustainable solutions, working with Ops, Development and Test Engineers to ensure operational effects are identified and addressed at all stages of a product or service release/change
  • Work closely with ITSO, Agile Leads & Value Stream Lead to ensure the IT solutions and project plans meet business needs and time to market
  • Ensure service resilience, service sustainability and recovery time objectives are met for the software solutions delivered
  • Responsible for automating the continuous integration / continuous delivery pipeline within a DevOps Product/Service team driving a culture of continuous improvement
  • Challenge where appropriate, decisions made on control implementation
