Dealer Information Systems Corporation (Client) is a leading business management software provider to agricultural, construction, truck refrigeration and lift truck dealers in North America. Founded in 1980, and based in Bellingham WA (USA); we are a team of 100+ professionals who help customers with Software, Hardware and Network Management so they don't have to deal with many vendors but just one full-service company.

The Position:
The division is looking for a Full-Stack Developer to work as part of its team to be responsible for the development and maintenance of its mobile-based projects that meet both technical requirements and business objectives. The chosen individual will work out of the Contour Software Lahore resource centre office as an extension of the division-based R&D department.

Required Experience:

  1. 4+ years of experience in software development, including both mobile and backend applications.
  2. 2+ years of hands-on experience with React & React Native in building cross-platform mobile applications.
  3. 4+ years of experience in .NET Core/.NET Framework for backend development.
  4. 2+ years of experience with RESTful APIs, Microservices architecture GraphQL, JSON, XML, XSD, XSL, and Git/Bitbucket.
  5. 4+ years of experience with relational databases & cloud technologies.
  6. 4+ years of experience with testing through manual and automated techniques/unit test frameworks.
  7. 4+ years of experience with HTML, HTML 5, CSS / CSS3, and CSS compiler knowledge (e.g. Sass, LESS).
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  1. Develop high-quality code that meets functional requirements, is easy to maintain, and provides a positive user experience.
  2. Resolving technical challenges and addressing issues that arise during the development process, leveraging their expertise to find effective solutions and keep projects on track.
  3. Collaborate with UI/UX designers, product managers, and backend teams to align technical solutions with business goals.
  4. Foster a collaborative and inclusive team culture, encouraging knowledge sharing, open communication, and continuous learning among team members.
  5. Offer guidance and support to team members, helping them navigate technical challenges, understand complex concepts, and improve their skills.
  6. Ensure that code reviews are conducted regularly as part of the development process to maintain code quality, identify bugs, and prevent technical debt.
  7. Participate in agile planning and stand-up meetings as necessary.
  8. Perform other duties as may be assigned by management.
Required Knowledge, Skillset and Abilities:
  1. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to debug and troubleshoot issues in applications efficiently.
  2. Strong understanding of core .NET concepts, OOP, data structures, and algorithms.
  3. Strong understanding of mobile UI/UX principles and best practices.
  4. Knowledge of security best practices, including OAuth, JWT, encryption, and secure coding standards.
  5. Good understanding of unit tests, performing code reviews and ensuring the quality and reliability of code.
  6. Have the ability to perform comfortably in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented work environment.
  7. Must be adaptable and willing to continuously learn and stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends.
  8. Good in working across cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment with stakeholders, and conveying technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  9. Experience in cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, including knowledge of cloud-native architectures and services.
  10. Familiarity with building and deploying microservices-based applications.
  11. Knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
  12. Knowledge of Agile development methodologies (including Scrum and Kanban).
  13. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
