JOB PURPOSE

As Procurement Specialist for Ingredients & Soft Commodities, you will develop and implement strategies for the new Ice Cream company, representing the portfolio to internal and external stakeholders.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Support and lead the development and implementation of procurement strategies.
2. Build strong relationships with suppliers, analyzing capabilities for long-term strategies.
3. Negotiate to deliver savings and meet cash targets, leveraging market understanding and negotiation skills.
4. Create and align a savings pipeline with relevant teams.
5. Ensure contracts are implemented and service levels are maintained in Pakistan.
6. Ensure compliance with RSP, contracting, quality, and service standards.
7. Initiate portfolio initiatives to increase leverage, maintaining strong market connections.
8. Support innovation projects through collaboration with R&D, providing market intelligence and supplier capacity insights.
9. Work with finance to support accurate price forecasting and budgeting based on market trends.
10. Continuously seek new opportunities and improvements.
11. Collaborate with the global team to incorporate local market insights into strategies.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor's degree or higher.
• Over 3 years of procurement or supply chain experience; prior buyer roles are a plus.
• Experience in cross-functional work, especially with R&D.
• Strong business acumen and negotiation skills.
