About the Role:

We're looking for a highly-driven and tech-oriented data analyst for our team in Pakistan. If you are looking for a place where you can gain business and technical exposure plus have a direct impact specifically on revenue and cost, then this may be the place for you

The ideal candidate will have a track record as a structured individual contributor – comfortable working independently, whilst working closely with the management team with high attention to detail. This role will be based in Pakistan and will report to the "Data Analytics Manager Finance", primarily supporting FP&A. Your responsibilities will include:

Key Responsibilities

• Analyse the performance of business across different channels using SQL for data extraction, and spreadsheet or Python for modelling.
• Collaborate with the business teams to design strategies that align with business objectives.
• Conduct analysis to assess the effectiveness of different operations and optimizations.
• Prepare detailed reports and dashboards to track the business performance.
• Leverage Python for scripting and manual/repetitive task automation.
• Develop a 360 degree business acumen, and KPI understanding across all the domains to help better handle business plan data requirements.
• Reconcile data between different sources by finding the root cause of the gap and closing that gap while aligning multiple stakeholders.
• Ad Hoc data extraction using SQL for either rate card configuration or for quick decision making.
• Conduct evaluation and verification activities designed to improve seller operations, customer satisfaction and business performance.
• Work closely with internal and external teams, provide findings in reports and dashboards and present.
• Help with budget planning, forecasting and relevant operational and planning model development using SQL for data extraction, and spreadsheet or Python for modelling.
• Translate complex findings into written text and prepare periodic reports that track key performance metrics on sales & marketing trends.
• Take ownership of projects end to end from requirements gathering to delivery.

We are looking for:

• Bachelor's degree program in STEM from a reputable institution, Masters is a plus.
• 3+ years of experience in an analytical or data driven role with hands-on SQL.
• Expertise in SQL and Python knowledge is a must.
• You are comfortable using business intelligence tools (e.g. Tableau, or PowerBI).
• Highly organised and self-disciplined, able to work on multiple projects in a self-structured and well-prioritised way.
• Data-driven & with a good attention to detail.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills with a problem-solving attitude is the cornerstone of your personality.
• Previous Ecommerce, Marketplace, Logistics experience is a plus.
