About the Role

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Engineering Manager to lead and scale our engineering efforts in the cutting-edge Fintech and Blockchain industries. This is a critical leadership role that requires a hands-on approach to managing and developing a distributed engineering team. You will be responsible for overseeing the entire development lifecycle, from architecture and implementation to delivery and post-launch support. Additionally, you will ensure the creation of high-quality, scalable, and secure software solutions while driving innovation and maintaining operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Team Leadership: Lead and manage a distributed engineering team, ensuring alignment with company goals and project strategies. Mentor and develop team members to foster a high-performance engineering culture.
  • Development and Delivery: Oversee the end-to-end development process, including architecture design, implementation, testing, delivery, and post-launch support. Drive rapid development cycles while maintaining high standards of quality and performance.
  • Collaboration: Partner closely with Project Managers and Development teams to ensure engineering efforts align with business priorities and objectives.
  • DevOps and SQA: Implement and maintain DevOps practices for continuous integration, delivery, and system uptime. Drive best practices in Software Quality Assurance (SQA) to uphold exceptional code quality.
  • System Architecture: Design and manage large-scale, secure, and scalable system architectures optimized for rapid iteration and growth.
  • Security and Compliance: Establish and enforce security best practices and compliance standards to protect data integrity and system safety.
Minimum Requirements
  • Must have 10 to 15 years of experience.
  • Proven experience managing large, distributed engineering teams, particularly in the software or SaaS industry, with a preference for Blockchain or Fintech sectors.
  • Hands-on expertise in Laravel, Vue.js, Node.js, Python, and proficiency in both SQL and NoSQL databases.
  • Strong background in designing and implementing scalable, secure system architectures.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead fast-paced development cycles while maintaining exceptional quality standards.
  • Extensive knowledge of DevOps practices, Software Quality Assurance (SQA), and security management.
  • Excellent project management skills with a proven track record of delivering complex projects on time and within scope.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across multiple teams and stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience in the Fintech or Blockchain industries.
