About the Role

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Team Lead – .NET to join our growing Fintech team, focusing on building cutting-edge trading platforms and financial applications. This role blends hands-on software engineering with team leadership and architectural decision-making.

You will guide a team of talented engineers, driving the development of secure, scalable, and high-performance systems. The ideal candidate has a strong command of the .NET ecosystem, experience in cloud-native architectures, and a background in trading or financial systems.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Leadership

• Architect, design, and implement enterprise-grade applications using .NET 8, ReactJS, and AWS.
• Lead the development of event-driven microservices, leveraging AWS services like Lambda, S3, Step Functions, and IoT.
• Champion SOLID principles, design patterns, and clean architecture in codebase design.
• Drive adoption of CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and DevOps best practices for smooth delivery.
• Lead, mentor, and upskill a team of developers, ensuring continuous technical growth.
• Conduct regular code reviews, foster peer learning, and enforce consistent coding standards.
• Define team objectives and align technical direction with business strategy.
• Encourage innovation, accountability, and ownership across the development team.
• Work closely with Product Owners, QA Engineers, DevOps, and UI/UX designers.
• Translate business requirements into technical solutions with clarity and precision.
• Provide accurate effort estimations, manage timelines, and ensure delivery of high-quality releases.
• Team spirit and collaborative approach within the teams and with all stakeholders.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.

Product Quality & Performance

• Ensure optimal application performance, security, and availability in cloud environments.
• Monitor live systems and drive proactive improvements and support issue resolution.
• Champion automated testing, debugging, and documentation standards.
• Continuously evaluate and adopt emerging technologies to improve efficiency and system design.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 7+ years of professional experience in software development with leadership role.
• Deep expertise in .NET (Core/8+), C#, SQL, and modern web technologies (ReactJS, TypeScript, HTML/CSS).
• Strong understanding of Microservices Architecture, Domain-Driven Design, and RESTful APIs.
• Proven experience building and scaling cloud-based applications on AWS.
• Solid grasp of DevOps tools: Git, Jenkins, Docker, CI/CD pipelines, etc.
• Experience in developing trading applications or working with financial systems.
• Familiarity with blockchain technologies and event-driven architectures is a strong plus.
• Ability to optimize database schemas and write efficient queries for high-volume systems.
• Strong knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies and project management principles.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with financial protocols and compliance (e.g., FIX, KYC, AML).
• Exposure to real-time systems, multi-threading, and performance tuning.
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and decision-making skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for leading technical discussions and stakeholder engagement.
