Senior Backend Engineer (Laravel)- Remit Choice Limited

About the role

Role Location: Gujranwala, Pakistan (full-time, on-site)

The ideal candidate will have both experience working within OOP PHP and relevant MVC frameworks, preferably Laravel, and be enthused by the chance to develop solutions to enterprise-scale requirements, using a modern approach.

What you'll get to do

●Experience with Microservices Architecture

●Develop high-quality software design and architecture

●Identify, prioritize, and execute tasks in the software development life cycle

●Develop tools and applications by producing clean, efficient code

●Automate tasks through appropriate tools and scripting

●Review and debug code

●Perform validation and verification testing

●Document development phases and monitor systems

●Ensure software is up-to-date with the latest technology

To succeed in this role, we think you should have

●At least 4-6 years of proven experience as a Software Engineer

●4+ years of experience with Laravel Framework

●Experience in software development, scripting, and project management

●Experience using system monitoring tools (e.g. New Relic) and automated testing frameworks

●Analytical mind with a problem-solving aptitude

●Experience in the Payments/Fintech space is preferred

●Ability to work independently

●Excellent organizational and leadership skills

●Demonstrable experience with OOP PHP

●Experience Developing highly scalable APIs

●Experience with Unit Testing/TDD

●Experience working with SOLID principles

●Knowledge of Typescript/Vuejs or the Statamic CMS would be a benefit
