Job Summary

As a Solutions Architect for Mobile Development, you will be responsible for taking the business requirements and turning them into a software design that can become a blueprint for the implementation team to follow. You will also ensure that the implementation team follows the design and delivers the project as per the agreed designs.

Duties And Responsibilities

  1. A Mobile Development architect at Creative Chaos will participate in the presales, user experience design, sprint, development, and delivery phases of a project and review the overall proposal.
  2. During user experience design, you will provide valuable input and review the wireframes from a technical standpoint.
  3. Before the actual development work starts, you will produce necessary artifacts to provide the team with direction.
  4. Necessary artifacts for the development team will be provided as a Solutions Design Document.
  5. During the development phase, you will ensure that the design is followed and any changes in the design are documented.
  6. An architect will also be responsible for reviewing the work the development team produces.
  7. You will provide necessary training to developers and should be the sole go-to person for the stakeholders and the team on all technical matters.

Requirements

  1. Master's or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from a reputable university.
  2. 10+ years of hands-on experience preferably in Android, iOS, Flutter, and React Native.
  3. Familiarity with native build tools, like XCode and Gradle.
  4. Understanding of REST APIs, the document request model, and offline storage.
  5. Minimum of 4 years of experience making important architecture & design decisions, such as data domain modeling, application of design patterns, and design using third-party components.
  6. Ability to work in a team in a diverse/multiple stakeholder environment.
  7. Proven experience in engineering and software architecture design. In-depth understanding of coding languages, sound knowledge of various operating systems and databases, and strong organizational and leadership skills.
  8. Effective communication with stakeholders, project managers, developers, and software vendors involved in the development process is essential for a solutions architect.
  9. A Mobile Architect must be capable of analyzing and identifying potential short and long-term risks that may cause technical issues and impede business operations in the future.
  10. Solid ability to work with third-party dependencies and debugging dependency conflicts.
