About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Go (Golang) Developer to join our backend engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for building scalable, high-performance backend services, APIs, and infrastructure components. You'll collaborate closely with product managers, front-end engineers, DevOps, and other backend developers to design and implement robust software solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain high-performance, reliable, and scalable microservices in Go.
  • Write clean, well-tested, and efficient code using best practices and Go idioms.
  • Develop and integrate RESTful APIs, gRPC services, and event-driven systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
  • Troubleshoot, optimize, and maintain existing services.
  • Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and tech evaluations.
  • Contribute to CI/CD pipeline improvements and automated testing.
  • Monitor application performance and ensure system stability, scalability, and security.

Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years of professional experience in backend development with Go (Golang).
  • Strong understanding of Go concurrency, channels, goroutines, and memory management.
  • Experience with microservices architecture and distributed systems.
  • Proficiency in working with relational and/or NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Redis).
  • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure).
  • Familiarity with messaging systems like Kafka, RabbitMQ, or NATS.
  • Solid understanding of software design principles, data structures, and algorithms.
  • Familiarity with version control systems (Git) and Agile development processes.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry).
  • Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD tools (GitLab CI, Jenkins, etc.).
  • Contributions to open-source Go projects or personal projects.
