WE'RE HIRING: Backend Developer (Remote)

Things You Should Know:

We're ideally looking for someone with up to mid-level experience in backend development using one or more of the following languages:

  • TypeScript (Node.js/NestJS)
  • Golang

AI-Enhanced Development

We actively use GitHub Copilot, Cursor, and ChatGPT in our workflows. These tools help our team move quickly, reduce repetitive work, and focus on solving real problems.

Language & Communication

Excellent written and spoken English is a must. You'll be working with international clients and internal teams across time zones.

Working Hours

  • Core hours: 12:00 PM – 9:00 PM (Pakistan time)
  • Monday to Saturday (Saturday is a half-day)
  • Flexibility may be required to align with time zones including Southeast Asia, Australia, Europe, and North America.

Equipment

You'll need to use your own laptop. We do not currently provide company-issued equipment.

Your Role

As a Backend Engineer at Bitfoot, you're expected to be an A-player. You will be hired on a probationary contract, with the expectation to quickly demonstrate:

  • Ability to design, develop, and deliver critical features
  • Strong communication and collaboration
  • Proactivity and ownership
  • Versatility across tasks and responsibilities

Hiring Process

  • Initial screening interview
  • Technical interview (live coding + discussion via screen share)
  • Final interview (may be face-to-face depending on location)
