Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and visionary Senior UI/UX Designer to join our team and take a leadership role in shaping our digital products. In this role, you will lead the design strategy, mentor and manage a team of designers, and work closely with cross-functional teams including product managers, developers, and marketing to create intuitive, innovative, and user-centric experiences across web and mobile platforms.

As the senior designer, you will be responsible for overseeing the full design lifecycle—from discovery and research to wireframing, prototyping, testing, and final execution—ensuring alignment with business goals and user needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead and manage the UI/UX team, providing direction, feedback, and mentorship.
  2. Collaborate with stakeholders to define product vision and translate it into user-centered design strategies.
  3. Conduct and oversee UX research to identify user needs, behaviors, and pain points.
  4. Create user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity visual designs.
  5. Establish and maintain design systems, patterns, and guidelines for consistency.
  6. Conduct usability testing and iterate designs based on feedback and data.
  7. Work closely with developers to ensure accurate implementation of designs.
  8. Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in design, technology, and user behavior.
  9. Present design concepts and solutions to stakeholders and decision-makers.
  10. Develop and maintain server-side applications using Node.js and related frameworks.
  11. Design and implement APIs to support front-end and mobile applications.
  12. Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
  13. Write reusable, efficient, and well-documented code following best practices.
  14. Perform code reviews to ensure code quality and consistency within the team.
  15. Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize applications for performance and scalability.
  16. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies in the Node.js ecosystem.
  17. Participate in architectural discussions and propose solutions to technical challenges.
  18. Work closely with product managers to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Computer Science, or a related field.
  2. Expert-level proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, etc.
  3. Strong understanding of UX principles, human-centered design, and accessibility.
  4. Solid knowledge of responsive design, mobile-first design, and interaction design, design system.
  5. Leadership & Collaboration: Proven ability to lead and inspire a design team.
  6. Excellent communication and presentation skills for collaborating with stakeholders.
  7. Strong problem-solving mindset with the ability to balance user needs and business goals.
  8. Experience in agile/scrum environments and collaborative workflows.
