  • Cold Forging Equipment Assistance:
    • Operate or assist in the operation of cold forging presses and related equipment.
    • Monitor the electrical aspects of the forging process, ensuring proper temperature, pressure, and speed.
    • Perform routine maintenance on equipment, including electrical components, to prevent breakdowns.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints related to cold forging machinery.
    • Understand and apply the National Electrical Code (NEC) and relevant safety regulations.
    • Troubleshoot electrical problems using testing devices and analytical skills.
  • Safety and Compliance:
    • Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines within the cold forging environment.
    • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
    • Participate in safety training and stay up-to-date on new safety procedures.
  • Collaboration and Communication:
    • Work effectively with other electricians and production personnel to ensure smooth operations.
    • Communicate effectively with supervisors and colleagues regarding electrical issues and maintenance needs.
  • Documentation and Record Keeping:
    • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment performance.
    • Document any issues encountered during the forging process.
