Job Description

We are looking to hire a highly skilled Semantic SEO Expert who has hands-on experience in growing organic search traffic for Shopify e-commerce and SaaS websites. The ideal candidate must have in-depth knowledge of Semantic SEO, including a proven track record applying Koray Tuğberk GÜBÜR's Semantic SEO framework.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute Semantic SEO strategies tailored for Shopify and SaaS websites
  • Conduct comprehensive topical map building, entity audits, and internal link architecture optimization
  • Implement semantic schema markups, knowledge graphs, and structured data
  • Perform in-depth keyword research focused on search intent and entity relevance
  • Collaborate with content teams to build optimized content clusters and topic hubs
  • Analyze search performance using tools like GSC, Screaming Frog, Surfer SEO, Oncrawl, etc.
  • Track, measure, and report organic traffic growth and rankings tied to business KPIs

Requirements

  • Deep understanding of Google's NLP algorithms, entity-based indexing, and semantic search
  • Hands-on SEO success for Shopify e-commerce and/or SaaS websites (please include examples)
  • Advanced SEO technical knowledge, including internal linking, crawl budget optimization, site architecture, etc.
  • Familiarity with tools such as Oncrawl, Inlinks, Screaming Frog, Surfer SEO, Ahrefs, GSC, etc.
  • Strong analytical skills with a data-driven mindset
  • Ability to document and showcase real SEO case studies with growth results
  • Experience building content maps using NLP & AI
  • Knowledge of Python or Sheets scripting for SEO automation
  • Familiarity with content scoring frameworks or content decay management
