Key Responsibilities

• Establish a comprehensive understanding of VIDIZMO products, features, use cases, target industries, and markets.
• Determine the types of documents needed (user manuals, installation guides, API documentation, etc.).
• Focus on user needs to ensure documentation is user-centric and accessible.
• Regularly produce technical marketing content and maintain the product knowledge base at http://help.vidizmo.com.
• Write clear, well-structured business requirements and documents explaining product features, functionalities, and usage.
• Conduct research and analysis to provide insights and recommendations for VIDIZMO's products and services.
• Collaborate with the product manager on roadmap planning and prioritization.
• Apply Docs-as-Code methodologies effectively.
• Proficiency in Git, Markdown, and static site generators like MkDocs, Sphinx, or Docusaurus.
• Document REST APIs, SDKs, and software products.
• Read and interpret code snippets in languages such as Python, JavaScript, or Bash.

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with CI/CD tools like GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or Azure DevOps.
• Basic knowledge of front-end development or DevOps tools.
• Experience with automation tools like Swagger/OpenAPI.
• UX writing or microcopy experience is a plus.

Qualifications & Experience Requirements

We welcome candidates from diverse backgrounds with strong technical skills and attention to detail.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering.
• 3+ years of experience as a Technical Writer or in a related role.
• Ability to understand and write about topics like video, streaming, networks, digital media, AI, cloud computing, and business applications.
• Strong technical knowledge of web application methodologies.
• Excellent English writing skills and technical aptitude to ask the right questions.
