Responsibilities
  1. Scheduling appointments of patients.
  2. Greeting patients and making them feel comfortable.
  3. Obtain necessary patient information - clinical, financial and demographic from referral sources to initiate the registration process.
  4. Maintaining accurate patient records and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
  5. Checking patients in and out.
  6. Collecting and processing payments.
  7. Following up with patients regarding test results and scheduling follow-up appointments.
  8. Answering phone calls and responding to emails.
  9. Maintaining a clean and organized reception area.
  10. Assisting with administrative tasks such as filing and data entry.
  11. Performing phlebotomy procedures, including drawing blood samples from patients.
  12. Preparing and labeling specimens for laboratory testing.
Job Specification
  1. Technical skills to draw blood and use laboratory equipment.
  2. Ability to interact with patients in a professional and empathetic manner.
  3. Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.
  4. Knowledge of laboratory procedures and protocols.
  5. Ability to work well under pressure.
  6. Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  7. Strong multitasking and prioritizing skills.
