Job Description

  • Collaborate with clients or art directors to determine project scope and create concepts that meet client needs and goals.
  • Maintain brand consistency and attention to detail throughout the creative process.
  • Present illustration concepts to clients and make revisions as needed.
  • Create vector illustrations, infographics, icons, characters, backgrounds, and other elements.
  • Use color, line, and other techniques to produce visually appealing illustrations.
  • Prepare finished illustrations for print or online use.
  • Continuously update and expand illustration skills and industry knowledge.

Requirements

  • Strong ability to understand and interpret client briefs and develop illustrations that meet project goals.
  • Strong artistic skills and the ability to create visually appealing illustrations.
  • Proficiency in digital illustration software such as Adobe Illustrator and Procreate.
  • Strong attention to detail to identify and correct mistakes in illustrations.
  • Creativity and imagination to develop unique and innovative concepts.
  • Effective communication skills to present concepts and collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
  • Problem-solving skills to address illustration challenges creatively.
  • Technical skills to understand medium requirements (print, web, animation) and produce effective illustrations.
  • Time management skills to meet deadlines and handle multiple projects.
  • Adaptability to work across various industries and project types.
  • Solid understanding of illustration principles, color theory, composition, and storytelling.
  • Commitment to continuous learning of new software, technologies, trends, and best practices in illustration.
