- Planning menus in consultation with chefs.

- Hiring, training, supervising and motivating permanent and temporary staff.
- Managing in-house catering operations including those in large corporate settings such as business and factory canteens.
- Performing staff management, expense control, menu selection, food preparation, and equipment rental to ensure a profitable event.
- Exploring business opportunities to obtain new orders.
