Maintenance Planner / Scheduler

Qualification

• Bachelors degree in engineering, Maintenance Management, or a related field (preferred).

Experience

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in maintenance scheduling, with a strong focus on SAP PM.
• Experience in the mining industry or heavy industrial environments is an advantage.

Requirements

• Proficiency in SAP PM for work order management, scheduling, and reporting.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
• Knowledge of safety protocols and regulatory compliance in maintenance operations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain comprehensive maintenance schedules for equipment, facilities, and infrastructure using SAP PM.
• Coordinate with maintenance teams, supervisors, and operations staff to ensure timely execution of scheduled activities.
• Monitor and update maintenance work orders in SAP PM, ensuring accurate tracking of work progress and resource allocation.
• Prioritize maintenance tasks based on equipment criticality, safety requirements, and operational needs.
• Generate and analyze maintenance reports to identify trends, areas for improvement, and potential risks.
• Ensure spare parts, tools, and other resources are available to execute planned maintenance activities effectively.
• Collaborate with procurement and warehouse teams to manage inventory for maintenance activities.
• Support the implementation of preventative and predictive maintenance programs to minimize equipment downtime.
• Ensure compliance with RDMCs safety and operational standards during maintenance planning and execution.
• Liaise with contractors and third-party vendors for specialized maintenance requirements.
• Provide input to the budget planning process for maintenance activities.
