Overview

We are hiring a senior front-end engineer who excels in both modern web (Next.js + Tailwind CSS + Shadcn UI) and cross-platform mobile (React Native). You will craft the user-facing experience for our AI-powered healthcare-communication platform across browsers and mobile devices, while ensuring continuous maintenance and support of existing applications.

Responsibilities
  • Design, build and deploy a high-performance Next.js application on Vercel, using Tailwind CSS and Shadcn UI
  • Lead the React Native codebase for iOS and Android, ensuring feature parity and consistent look and feel with the web client
  • Integrate end-to-end encrypted chat as well as voice/video calling SDKs (LiveKit, Agora, Twilio) on both web and mobile
  • Consume GraphQL/REST services for authentication, conversation history and live updates (WebSockets / SSE / push notifications)
  • Optimize rendering, bundle size, battery usage and accessibility; translate Figma designs into production-ready code
  • Refactor, debug and enhance current front-end and mobile modules, ensuring compatibility with evolving AI services
  • Implement monitoring, error tracking and hot-fix pipelines; participate in 24×7 incident triage
  • Work closely with back-end, ML and product teams to ship cohesive, end-to-end features
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related discipline
  • Expert-level React/TypeScript with deep hands-on experience in Next.js (App Router) and React Native
  • Advanced styling skills with Tailwind CSS and component libraries such as Shadcn UI
  • Proven history of deploying, scaling and debugging production apps on Vercel (or similar serverless platforms)
  • Solid grasp of secure data handling, E2EE principles and HIPAA/PHIPA-aligned best practices
  • Familiarity with real-time communication SDKs and modern state-management tools (Zustand, Redux Toolkit, React Query)
  • Excellent analytical and English communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • Ability to bridge native modules (Swift/Obj-C, Kotlin/Java) when necessary
  • Experience with healthcare communication platforms
  • Accessibility optimization and pixel-perfect UI implementation
  • Availability for 12 a.m.–4 p.m. EST window when required
  • Performance-based bonuses after 1 and 2-year employment periods
