Our Client, an impact organization specializing in Early Childhood Development and Education (ECDE) is seeking candidates for the position of HR and L&D Manager.

Responsibilities:

Recruitment and Onboarding:
  1. Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract and hire qualified daycare staff, including teachers, assistants, and administrative personnel.
  2. Conduct thorough interviews and background checks.
  3. Manage the onboarding process, ensuring new employees are properly integrated into the team and understand company policies and procedures.
Employee Relations:
  1. Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries and concerns.
  2. Mediate employee conflicts and resolve issues in a fair and timely manner.
  3. Foster a positive and inclusive work environment.
  4. Maintain accurate and confidential employee records.
Compliance:
  1. Ensure compliance with all employment laws and regulations.
  2. Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and documentation.
  3. Develop and implement HR policies and procedures.
Training Needs Assessment:
  1. Identify training needs for all staff based on performance reviews, feedback, and industry best practices.
  2. Develop and implement training programs to enhance staff skills and knowledge in areas such as child development, classroom management, safety, and first aid.
Training Development and Delivery:
  1. Develop and deliver engaging and effective training programs using a variety of methods, including workshops, online modules, and on-the-job training.
  2. Source and manage external training providers as needed.
  3. Create and maintain training documentation.
Professional Development:
  1. Stay up-to-date on the latest trends and best practices in early childhood education and development.
  2. Encourage and support staff participation in professional development opportunities.
  3. Track and record employee training and certifications.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Education, or a related field.
  2. Proven experience in HR and L&D, preferably in a childcare or education setting.
  3. Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
  4. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  6. Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  7. Experience in developing and delivering training programs.
  8. Knowledge of child development and early childhood education would be a plus.
