Job Title: Audit Professional - Pakistan

Job Summary

  • Act as a Team Member on assigned audit work primarily in Pakistan.
  • Serve as Team Leader, overseeing the planning and execution of audits, managing the audit budget, and drafting audit issues and reports.
  • Ensure audit work is completed efficiently, effectively, within budget and timelines, and in line with Group Internal Audit standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Head of Audit and SAMs in developing the GIA risk assessment and audit plan for the assigned portfolio.
  • Propose audits based on business knowledge during the audit cycle.
  • Conduct roles in accordance with the Audit Charter, maintaining independence and avoiding management interference.
  • Assist in managing audit costs within the allocated budget.
  • Identify opportunities for audit efficiencies.
  • Participate as team member or leader, especially for complex, cross-functional, high-risk audits.
  • Ensure quality and timeliness of audit deliverables per GIA methodology.
  • Draft and review audit scope documents and audit planning materials.
  • Track and escalate unresolved audit issues and action plans.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 7 years of experience in banking and auditing, with a focus on Treasury & Finance.
  • Knowledge of IFRS 9, model valuations, and interest rate risk management preferred.
