IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL

Be responsible for designing and implementing secure IT security architectures to protect enterprise applications, data, and IT infrastructure. This role ensures that IT systems, cloud environments, endpoints, and data centres comply with Zero Trust, Defendable Architecture, and cybersecurity best practices. The position requires expertise in Identity and Access Management (IAM), Privileged Access Management (PAM), endpoint security, cloud security, data protection, and compliance enforcement to strengthen the organization's overall security posture.

HOW CAN YOU EXPRESS YOUR TALENT

  1. IT Security Architecture & Zero Trust Implementation
    • Design and implement IT security architectures for enterprise IT environments, including on-prem, cloud, and hybrid infrastructures.
    • Develop and enforce Identity and Access Management (IAM) frameworks with least-privilege access and Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA).
    • Implement Zero Trust principles by enforcing secure authentication, authorization, and access control mechanisms across IT systems.
    • Develop and execute endpoint security strategies, including EDR/XDR, antivirus, and device hardening, to ensure comprehensive protection.
  2. Cloud & Data Security
    • Design and implement cloud security controls for private cloud and hyperscale environments (AWS, Azure, GCP, Oracle & IBM).
    • Secure SaaS, PaaS, and IaaS platforms by enforcing Cloud Access Security Broker (CASB) and Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM) solutions.
    • Deploy data loss prevention (DLP), encryption, and secure backup solutions to safeguard IT assets from unauthorized access and data breaches.
    • Establish and enforce security policies for data storage, databases, and file-sharing systems to maintain data integrity and confidentiality.
  3. IT Application and Infrastructure Security
    • Develop and implement application security frameworks, incorporating OWASP best practices to mitigate web application risks and API security threats.
    • Ensure the security of enterprise applications by enforcing secure coding practices, vulnerability assessments, and penetration testing.
    • Conduct regular security audits and assessments of applications and IT infrastructure to proactively identify and remediate vulnerabilities.
  4. IT Asset & Endpoint Security Management
    • Deploy and manage endpoint security solutions, including EDR, DLP, mobile security, and encryption, to protect all IT assets.
    • Develop and enforce strategies for secure remote work, VPN security, and BYOD (Bring Your Own Device) policies to ensure secure access.
    • Implement security controls for IT servers, storage systems, virtualization platforms, and user workstations to prevent unauthorized access and data breaches.
  5. IT Solution & Vendor Management
    • Develop and manage the complete lifecycle of IT security solutions, including preparing RFI/RFP documents, conducting technical evaluations, and overseeing solution procurement.
    • Evaluate IT security solutions and collaborate with vendors to ensure alignment with business and security requirements.
    • Design and implement solution architecture and security frameworks for IAM, endpoint security, and cloud security tools.
    • Ensure successful solution delivery, deployment, and acceptance while maintaining compliance with PTCL policies and procedures.
    • Engage with security vendors and managed security service providers (MSSPs) to enhance IT security capabilities and improve incident response efficiency.
    • Maintain an up-to-date vendor tracking system to ensure proper management of IT security solutions and contracts.
  6. Risk Management & Compliance
    • Ensure compliance with NIST, ISO 27001, CIS, GDPR, PCI-DSS, and other industry standards and regulations.
    • Conduct security risk assessments for IT applications, cloud environments, and internal IT infrastructure.
    • Develop and enforce IT security governance frameworks, policies, and procedures to maintain a strong security posture.
  7. Documentation & Reporting
    • Develop and maintain IT security architecture blueprints and security policies to ensure alignment with security best practices.
    • Provide regular reports on IT security risks, incidents, and security effectiveness to support decision-making and continuous improvement.
    • Ensure proper documentation of IT security controls and procedures to maintain transparency and compliance with security standards.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL

Qualification:

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Network Engineering, or a related field.
  • Industry certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CCSP, CCSK, CISA or similar certifications.
  • Proven experience in IT Security Architectures or security operations and managing a team of security engineers.

Competencies:

  • Identity and Access Management (IAM), endpoint security, application security, database security, cloud security, Data Loss Prevention (DLP), and Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR)/Extended Detection and Response (XDR) solutions.
  • In-depth knowledge of Zero Trust architecture and frameworks, with a strong focus on identity security, secure access controls, and the implementation of least-privilege access across enterprise environments.
  • AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud (GCP).
  • Security Information and Event Management (SIEM), Security Orchestration, Automation and Response (SOAR), Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), VPN security, and DLP technologies.
  • EDR/XDR solutions.
  • DTDISR, ISO 27001, GDPR, NIST, PCI-DSS, and CIS Controls.
