Summary of Position

The successful candidate will be responsible for end-to-end solution design, with a comprehensive understanding of architecture facets: Application, Data, Security, Infrastructure & Business. This role is part of the Enterprise Architecture team, working in a greenfield environment to establish foundational future architecture.

The role involves shaping Azure solutions, focusing on Azure PaaS, containerization, and API Management, ensuring solutions are robust, cost-effective, secure, and scalable. The candidate will translate business and technical requirements into architecture artifacts to support development and testing teams.

This position reports to the Enterprise Architect.

Duties and Responsibilities
  1. Plan and deliver cloud migration projects.
  2. Design architectural layers for programs, emphasizing Infrastructure, Application, Data, Security, and Business Architecture.
  3. Participate in architecture governance and review processes.
  4. Develop business cases and RFPs.
  5. Maintain the Enterprise Repository with architecture updates.
  6. Identify and manage risks early in projects.
  7. Support application and infrastructure migration and implementation.
  8. Ensure architectural governance during all project phases.
  9. Guide technical teams to adhere to standards and patterns.
  10. Work in an Agile environment, collaborating with various stakeholders.
  11. Translate business requirements into technical specifications.
  12. Contribute to application and data integration standards.
  13. Support integration solutions to meet objectives.
  14. Possess knowledge of TOGAF and Azure certifications (nice to have).
Required Skills
  1. Experience designing highly available solutions on Azure cloud.
  2. Knowledge of programming languages like C#, Node.js, Java.
  3. Experience in mobile solution design.
  4. Strong expertise in Azure services like Container Apps, CosmosDB, Service Bus, Blob Storage, SQL Server, Entra ID, VNets, WAF, Redis, Event Grid, API Management, and DevOps.
  5. Experience with APIs, Microservices, performance, and security.
  6. Ability to create detailed architecture diagrams and deployment models.
  7. Experience with identity and access management tools like Entra ID, Okta, or Thales, and with logging/monitoring.
  8. Proven ability to produce architecture documents.
  9. Excellent communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
  10. Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
  11. Knowledge of AWS (nice to have).
Nice to Have
  • Experience with EA tools like Hopex, Ardoq, iServer, Abacus.
