Job description

Medatron Pvt. Ltd, a leading technology based medical billing company, is seeking a talented Junior PHP WordPress Developer to join our in-house development team. In this role, you will be assisting in creating and developing high-quality WordPress based websites and web applications. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in Frontend Development including HTML5, CSS3, jQuery, JavaScript, Bootstrap 5, Font Awesome, and extensive experience in WordPress custom theme development.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the UI/UX designer to implement and develop responsive website designs, ensuring an optimal user experience across different devices and browsers.
  • Develop custom WordPress themes according to project requirements.
  • Customize and enhance existing WordPress themes to meet specific project needs.
  • Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following industry best practices and coding standards.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any issues or bugs that arise during the development process.
  • Conduct website performance optimization to ensure fast page loading times and smooth user interactions.
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure seamless integration of the frontend and backend components.
  • Stay up to date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices related to WordPress development.
  • Strong knowledge of converting PSD/Figma designs to pixel-perfect fully dynamic themes.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Proven experience as a PHP Developer, with expertise in WordPress theme development.
  • Strong proficiency in PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript/jQuery, and MySQL.
  • Extensive knowledge of WordPress, including theme and plugin development.
  • Experience with frontend frameworks and libraries (e.g., React, Vue.js) is a plus.
  • Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaborative development workflows.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to deliver high-quality work within deadlines.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
