Job Purpose

The Technology Procurement Manager is responsible for overseeing the purchasing of technology products, services, and solutions.

  • Develop and implement sourcing and acquisition strategies for technology products, software, hardware, and services.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to align procurement strategies with business needs and goals.
  • Identify and evaluate potential suppliers or vendors for technology products and services.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with vendors to ensure high-quality product and service delivery.
  • Monitor spending, identify cost-saving opportunities, and drive cost-reduction initiatives without compromising quality or performance.
  • Work closely with the IT department, project managers, and other relevant teams to understand technology needs and requirements.
Key Result Areas
  • Provide value-added inputs for procurement and SOP revision, ensure visibility of procurement processes, and maintain compliance internally and externally.
  • Apply structured, consistent, and risk-centered controls and oversight of spend.
  • Proactively manage spend, engage stakeholders, and develop strategies.
  • Manage demand and expenses effectively.
  • Conduct professional market research and foster innovation from suppliers.
  • Recommend suitable potential suppliers based on internal demand requirements.
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience
  • A business graduate with a major in Economics or International Trade.
  • Minimum 5-7 years of experience leading procurement functions, with at least 4 years in a similar role within the service industry or banking sector.
  • Familiar with local market dynamics and regional/international markets.
  • Strong PC skills including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and MIS tools, along with good communication skills.
  • Familiarity with Oracle Procurement and its features.
  • Proficient in automated analytical tools for vendor analysis, evaluation matrices, performance analysis, SLAs, and TAT measurements.

Must be professional, demonstrating integrity and ethical values.
