Responsibilities
  • Squad Leads have the end-to-end accountability for the technology direction.
  • Leadership of the squad, overseeing adherence to technology and software development life cycle standards and policies, promoting a continuous improvement culture in the Squad.
  • Drive technical improvements in the SDLC and automation frameworks.
  • Professionally develop the teams and encourage knowledge sharing.
  • Manage productivity, quality, and delivery planning for the Squads in coordination with the Tribe Leads, ensuring adherence to planning timelines.
  • Serve a crucial purpose in the agile matrix, helping plan and orchestrate execution of the work, building a cohesive team, providing inspiration, coaching, and feedback to team members, reporting progress to tribe leaders, and contributing to people development and performance.
  • Clear blockers and impediments, eliminating waste for the squad, creating a working environment where raising impediments is encouraged.
  • Champion scrum principles at the squad level, facilitating scrum ceremonies and continuous improvement processes.
  • Support Product Owners in managing the backlog by organizing and facilitating timely grooming sessions with the squad.
Requirements

Technical Skills & Experience - API Developer (Oracle DB, Java)

  • Application development experience in Java/J2EE 7/8, following industry recognized software development life cycle.
  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable and efficient APIs and microservices.
  • API design and implementation, ensuring best practices and standards are followed.
  • Implement secure and reliable API integration with external systems and third-party services.
  • Writing SQL queries and PL/SQL stored procedures to fetch data for reports.
  • Excellent knowledge and experience in Databases development using PL/SQL.
  • Expert experience with Spring Framework, Spring Batch, MicroServices, and Eureka, API Gateway architecture.
  • Proficiency in designing RESTful APIs, including API versioning, documentation (Swagger/OpenAPI), and best practices.
  • Knowledge of securing APIs using OAuth2, JWT, and best practices for securing microservices.
  • Experience with integrating APIs with third-party systems, databases, and cloud services.
  • Proficient in Spring Boot, Swagger, Tomcat 8, Maven, Jenkins, GIT, Postman/Newman, RESTful Services, Containers.
  • Demonstrate strong programming skills using JSON, Web Services, XML, XSLT, PL/SQL in Unix and Windows environments.
  • Good object-oriented and problem-solving skills.
Education
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or similar domain.
  • Related professional/technical qualification will be advantageous although not mandatory.
