About The Role

We are currently seeking a Junior to Mid-Level WordPress Developer with strong technical skills and a passion for clean, efficient code. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, customizing, and maintaining high-performance WordPress websites.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain responsive WordPress websites using custom themes and plugins.
  • Customize and troubleshoot themes/plugins based on project requirements.
  • Ensure websites are optimized for performance, security, SEO, and cross-browser compatibility.
  • Work closely with the design team to convert Figma/PSD to WordPress with pixel-perfect results.
  • Implement client feedback and resolve bugs/issues within deadlines.
  • Maintain documentation and follow development best practices.

Requirements
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience in WordPress development (Junior to Mid-Level).
  • Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, and MySQL.
  • Experience with popular builders like Elementor, WPBakery, Gutenberg, etc.
  • Familiarity with custom post types, taxonomies, and WordPress hooks/actions.
  • Ability to Integrate third-party APIs and plugins.
  • Ability to debug and resolve performance or compatibility issues.
  • Familiarity with cPanel/hosting, and website migration processes.
  • Basic understanding of SEO best practices for web development.
  • Experience with design tools like Photoshop, Figma, or Canva is a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Familiarity with page speed optimization (LCP, CLS, etc.).
  • Knowledge of WooCommerce or other eCommerce platforms is a bonus.
