Mobile QA Automation Engineer (Appium + TypeScript)

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly skilled Mobile QA Automation Engineer with hands-on experience in Appium and TypeScript to ensure the quality and reliability of our mobile applications. The role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining automated test frameworks, as well as contributing to our CI/CD processes for efficient releases.

  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for mobile applications using Appium with TypeScript.
  • Build and scale robust test frameworks for Android and iOS platforms.
  • Collaborate with developers, product managers, and manual QA to identify test requirements and automation coverage.
  • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines for quick feedback.
  • Perform regression and exploratory testing as needed.
  • Log defects, track bug fixes, and validate resolutions.
  • Contribute to QA best practices, processes, and tools.

Note: Only apply if your salary expectations fall within the bracket of 150k-160k.

Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of experience in mobile automation testing.
  • Strong experience with Appium for Android and iOS app automation.
  • Good understanding of mobile app architectures and debugging tools (e.g., ADB, Xcode).
  • Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps.
  • Familiarity with API testing tools such as Postman, REST-assured, or SuperTest.
  • Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Nice to Have:
  • Experience with WebDriverIO or Detox.
  • Familiarity with BDD frameworks like Cucumber.
  • Exposure to cloud-based testing environments.
  • ISTQB certification or equivalent.
