Project Manager will be responsible for all stages and types of IT initiatives for the business from proposal and requirements definition to project planning and implementation.
A major part of this position is to provide a proactive interface between the internal customers and the technical/programming staff to ensure effective definition of and delivery of business applications.

Responsibilities Include:
  1. Design, development and delivery of effective business applications.
  2. Unravel, define and document complex business requirements and processes, evaluate options and implement solutions.
  3. Lead design sessions and review sessions with technical and business staff, including all levels of management.
  4. Work with marketing and sales team.
  5. Direct daily operations of department, analyzing workflow, establishing priorities, developing standards and setting deadlines.
  6. Manage multiple, parallel projects using formal project planning techniques.
  7. Manage application design through the various lifecycle stages from business need through design and delivery.
  8. Establish and maintain customer relationships.
  9. Assist in developing departmental plans, goals, objectives, policies and procedures.
  10. Assign, monitor and review the tasks of systems analysts, engineers, and other computer-related workers.
  11. Provide supervision and guidance to all assigned staff.
  12. Perform other related duties, as assigned.
Job Specification

Skill and Expertise
- Strong business analyst, application design, and project management skills are essential.
- Candidate should have at least 6 years of work experience, of which 4 years of Project Management experience is a must.
- The candidate must be technically sound in ASP.Net / VB.net / SQL server 2000/2005, and C# would be an added advantage.
- Experience and proven track record of developing complex Web Applications and knowledge of the insurance industry.
- Candidate must be flexible, have the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Candidate should have experience in handling foreign clients and must have excellent English writing and speaking skills.
- Candidate must be able to develop and manage project scope, deliverables, milestones, and critical resource planning activities.
- Manage concurrent projects and their interdependencies.
- Estimate, prioritize and schedule own tasks.
- He/She should be able to use logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems.
- Candidate must have expertise in coordinating, training, supervising, or managing the activities of others to accomplish goals. Very advanced communication and organizational skills are required.
- Motivated, enthusiastic, and detail-oriented individuals will be preferred.
- Must have knowledge of ISO and should be aware of all kinds of document management.
