As a Senior System Engineer, you contribute reusable artefacts and best practices for the organisation and have demonstrated this in your previous assignments. You will mentor your colleagues and participate in R&D and Services interactions.
Meet the Job
- As a Senior System Engineer, you'll act as an advisor of the Backbase product in projects where the actual implementation is done by our client or one of our system integration partners. This role involves a lot (50%) of traveling and meeting with people from all over the world;
- Being a consultant at Backbase means taking ownership in your projects and enabling our customers to set up their environments from test to production. You will analyze the particular situation, the needs, and existing setup of our customers, and provide documented guidelines for the implementation. You will give advice on security standards and optimizing performance;
- You will design, develop, and oversee the implementation of solutions that improve the stability, scalability, availability, and latency of our product. You will be in close contact with customers and partners, which leads to valuable input to improve our product in collaboration with our R&D teams.
Functional/Technical Skills
- Experience in AWS services;
- Experience in setting and configuring Databases and RDS;
- Experience in Automation of infrastructure (Infrastructure as Code).
How about You?
- 5+ years of experience in a similar role;
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience;
- English language proficiency at a professional level, both written and spoken;
- AWS Certified SysOps Administrator or similar is a plus.
