We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team as a Software Engineer.
In this role, you will:
- Manage IBM z Console Operations, monitor job execution, troubleshoot failures, and restart jobs as needed.
- Handle IPL (Initial Program Load), role swaps, perform weekly housekeeping activities, and manage batch jobs using tools like JCL to maintain service availability.
- Monitor alert consoles and logs for errors or performance issues; start, stop, and restart system components as needed.
- Respond to system messages and alerts to ensure service availability.
- Work in a collaborative and agile environment, supporting a global team.
- Support 24/7 shift operations, ensuring high system availability by managing incidents efficiently.
- Participate in weekly retrospective calls, contribute to process improvements, and work on automation to reduce manual effort.
