Job Summary:

As a Mid-Level Back-End Developer, you will play a crucial role in the development and maintenance of our platform. Reporting directly to the Senior Developer and collaborating with the Project Manager, your responsibilities will include maintaining and enhancing features built by your colleagues, ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front-end. You will also be responsible for fixing bugs, making minor platform changes, and supporting the Senior Developer in larger feature development initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Senior Developer in maintaining and optimizing server-side components.
  • Monitor and resolve bugs and issues reported on the platform to ensure smooth operation.
  • Collaborate with the Senior Developer to implement small features and improvements to enhance platform performance.
  • Manage and maintain database connections and queries, ensuring timely data retrieval and storage.
  • Support front-end developers by troubleshooting and resolving integration issues.
  • Work with the QA team to identify bugs and contribute to testing efforts.
  • Perform code reviews and provide feedback to ensure coding standards and best practices are followed.
  • Create and update technical documentation for codebases, workflows, and system architecture.
  • Assist in identifying bottlenecks in the current system and propose solutions to resolve them.
  • Ensure security practices are followed across all server-side operations.
  • Stay updated with the latest back-end development trends and technologies to continuously improve the platform.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Back-End Developer.
  • Strong experience with the Laravel framework.
  • Proficient in PHP, SQL, and other back-end languages.
  • Experience designing and managing database technologies such as MySQL, Oracle, or MongoDB.
  • Familiarity with version control tools like GIT.
  • Experience building scalable and distributed systems
  • Strong problem- Solid understanding of web technologies, including HTTP protocols, AJAX, JSON, and RESTful APIs solving skills and ability to manage projects.
  • Experience with cloud services, such as Azure, and server management.
  • Excellent analytical and time management skills.
  • Knowledge of algorithms and data structures.
