We are currently seeking Semi Senior Accountant to join our team.As aSemi Senior Accountant you will gain exposure to a range of taxation and accounting tasks. Comprehensive training and assistance will be provided.

To be considered for these positions, candidates should be partially qualified ACCA members / or similar qualification or sound demonstrable work experience. A minimum of 12 months of prior experience in an accountancy firm would be advantageous, particularly if gained within a UK-based practice.

Primary Duties:

  1. Maintain accurate financial records (bookkeeping) utilizing a variety of software platforms such as Xero, QuickBooks, VT, Sage 50, Freeagent, Clear Books and Excel.
  2. Prepare financial statements including necessary disclosures as per FRS-105 and FRS-102 standards.
  3. Calculate Corporation Tax in compliance with UK tax legislation.
  4. Draft correspondence letters and other essential documents.
  5. File financial statements and corporation tax returns with both Company's House and HMRC.
  6. Compile VAT returns adhering to UK VAT regulations.
  7. Complete individual personal income tax returns in accordance with UK tax legislation would be a desirable extra.
  8. Maintain monthly payroll records utilizing Sage 50 payroll software, would be advantageous.

Requirements:

  1. ACCA Affiliate/ACCA Finalist / MCom / BBA / MBA / BComqualification or demonstrable work experience .
  2. Preference given to candidates with prior experience in UK-based firms.
  3. Proficiency in Xero, Sage 50, Clear Books, Freeagent, QuickBooks, VT and Excel is highly desirable.
  4. Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role within a reputable organization.
  5. Possess strong analytical, communication, and computer skills.
  6. Demonstrated understanding of accounting and financial processes.
  7. Exhibit ethical and professional conduct.
