Chemistry / Biology Tutor

We are a UK-based company seeking dynamic, proficient, and academically accomplished candidates to join our team as online learning assistants in our Lahore office.

As an online learning assistant, you will support UK-based schoolchildren (ages 8-18) with their academic studies via our innovative live chat support and whiteboard system. Prior to joining, online learning assistants will receive comprehensive training on the UK academic system, safeguarding legislation, pedagogical techniques, and platform usage.

1. Answering students' queries via a live chat support system through our proprietary platform
2. Assisting students with homework using the Socratic method
3. Helping students understand theories from their syllabus with relevant examples
4. Using whiteboard tools to answer students' questions
5. Uploading sample materials
6. Preparing content, sample questions, and examples
7. Collecting helpful feedback on the platform and student engagement

• Possess excellent verbal and written English communication skills
• Hold a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field with expertise in at least one of the supported subjects (e.g., Chemistry, Biology) up to high school level
• Preference for candidates who can teach multiple subjects
• Comfortable using a computer device
• High standard of ethics, hard work, and openness to new approaches
• Willingness to understand the UK curriculum and responsiveness to training
• Complete company training
• Possess a clean criminal record and the right to work with children
• Must attend the office for shifts
• Available for full-time employment, up to 54 hours/week
• Available to work from 5pm – 2am in autumn/winter and 4pm – 1am in spring/summer (Daylight Saving Time)
