We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Quantity Estimation Engineer to join our Business Development team at 21 A, Zaman Park. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately estimating the quantity and cost of materials, labor, and resources required for construction, manufacturing, or other project types. The role involves working closely with project managers, architects, and procurement teams to ensure accurate estimations that align with project budgets and timelines. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in the power sector.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Review project drawings, specifications, and other documents to understand project scope and requirements.
  2. Prepare accurate quantity take-offs and cost estimates for construction, manufacturing, or related projects.
  3. Coordinate with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to gather necessary information.
  4. Develop and maintain detailed project cost databases, including materials, labor, and overheads.
  5. Analyze project costs and prepare reports to track progress and ensure cost control.
  6. Assist in preparing bids and proposals for clients, ensuring estimates meet all requirements.
  7. Monitor changes in project scope and adjust quantity estimates accordingly.
  8. Collaborate with procurement teams to identify suitable suppliers and vendors.
  9. Conduct site visits when necessary to assess conditions and update quantity estimations.
Requirements:
  1. Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related field.
  2. 3-5 years of experience in quantity estimation, construction, or engineering project management.
  3. Strong knowledge of estimation software and tools (e.g., AutoCAD, MS Excel, Bluebeam, etc.).
  4. Excellent understanding of construction processes, materials, and methodologies.
  5. Attention to detail with the ability to manage large amounts of data and documentation.
  6. Strong communication and interpersonal skills for coordination with various stakeholders.
  7. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  8. Knowledge of bid preparation is required.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in the power sector will be highly preferred.
