Job Description

We are seeking a passionate, diligent, ambitious, and reliable Senior AI Engineer to join us. This is a full-time position based in Karachi, offering excellent working conditions and opportunities for career progression. You will work closely with the Director and CEO.

As an AI Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and deploying AI-driven solutions across our business. You will collaborate with product teams, data engineers, and stakeholders to identify opportunities where AI and automation can add value through intelligent chat systems and predictive analytics.

You will leverage cutting-edge tools and in-house data to help us deliver scalable, ethical, and compliant AI solutions.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Design and implement machine learning models and AI systems to solve real-world business problems.
  • Identify opportunities for intelligent automation within operational workflows.
  • Collaborate with data engineers to prepare and optimise data pipelines.
  • Work with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical requirements.
  • Evaluate and integrate third-party AI APIs and platforms (e.g., OpenAI, AWS SageMaker, Vertex AI).
  • Monitor model performance, retrain as needed, and ensure responsible AI practices are followed.
  • Contribute to the evolution of our AI and data strategy.

What We're Looking For

  • 3+ years of experience in AI/ML engineering, data science, or related fields.
  • Proficiency in Python and libraries such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, Pandas, etc.
  • Experience with NLP techniques and large language models (e.g., transformers, GPT, BERT).
  • Strong understanding of data preparation, feature engineering, and model evaluation.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and deploying models to production.
  • Familiarity with REST APIs, containerization (Docker), and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a collaborative mindset.

Bonus Points

  • Experience fine-tuning and deploying large language models.
  • Knowledge of secure data handling and compliance, especially in finance or healthcare.
  • Understanding of prompt engineering and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG).
  • Exposure to robotic process automation (RPA) or workflow orchestration tools.
