Infection Control Nurse

We are looking for an Infection Control Nurse to determine and establish procedures and quality standards on infection control and to monitor these against set targets. Focus on Infection control measurement in the hospital and implementation of the Infection Control program

Key Job Responsibilities:

• Acting as a catalyst for change and improvement in performance on infection control
• Making routine rounds of the hospital related to areas of Infection Control & Waste Management
• Determining training needs and providing continuous medical education services to Doctors, Nurses/Paramedical, and housekeeping staff in particular, and other staff in general, on matters related to Infection Control
• Developing and implementing procedures & policies related to infectious diseases & conducting an audit on a monthly/quarterly basis or as and when required
• Identify infectious disease processes
• Control & prevention of transmission of infectious agents
• Review or assessment of occupational & employee health
• To liaise with the District Health Administration in connection with data and policies pertaining to infectious disease
• To monitor hazardous procedures and practices & participate in documentation related to quality standards & service specifications

Qualification & Experience:

• Post RN B.Sc. (Nursing) or Generic BSN with 6 to 08 years of Experience with Leading Healthcare organizations
• Post Graduate diploma in infection control will be preferred.
