The candidate's responsibilities would include the following:
Responsibilities include trading equities for corporate accounts and High net worth Individuals. Vehicles traded will be common stock and futures listed on the Karachi Stock Exchange. Developing clients' portfolio by a combination of investments in the equity market. Trader is expected to proactively communicate with clients regarding order status and market conditions. Must monitor and ensure full compliance with trading policies, procedures, and guidelines. Must have strong communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into business terms. To source new business through a combination of cold calling, event participation, networking, while being supported by the company's shared lead generation team.
Successful candidate should have:
The candidate should be equipped with excellent communication skills and should have a strong personality. Since trading in the equity markets requires a sound knowledge of finance and a thorough understanding of various industries, selling skills is also a must. The ability to multi-task in a high pressure environment as well as interact with trading staff and Brokers is essential.
Bachelor's Degree, preferred in finance, is required. Advance degree, MBA and/or CFA certification is a plus.
