Role Overview

As an SEO Expert, you will lead, architect, and execute comprehensive SEO strategies for multiple projects (3-4). You will be responsible for all aspects of SEO (on-page, technical, off-page), including keyword research, ranking strategies using white-hat techniques, conducting technical audits, implementing schema markup and site-speed optimizations, and managing link-building campaigns to enhance domain authority, rankings, and traffic.

Responsibilities

  • On-Page SEO & Keyword Optimization: Research and assign keywords to relevant pages; optimize titles, meta descriptions, headers, and URLs; monitor and improve keyword rankings.
  • Technical SEO: Conduct site audits for crawl errors, mobile usability, and speed issues; manage sitemaps, robots.txt files, canonical tags, and structured data; collaborate with developers to fix broken links, redirects, and JavaScript rendering issues.
  • Off-Page SEO & Link Building: Build quality backlinks, reach out for guest posting opportunities, and monitor backlink profiles; craft outreach emails and disavow harmful links; utilize keyword insights for promotion strategies.
  • Reporting & Analysis: Provide monthly SEO performance reports covering traffic, rankings, and link growth; analyze data to refine strategies.

Required Qualifications

  • At least 3 years of hands-on SEO experience with proven success in improving rankings and traffic.
  • Extensive experience in link building and outreach tools like BuzzStream or Pitchbox.
  • Proficiency with SEO tools such as Ahrefs, SEMrush, Moz, Screaming Frog, Google Search Console, and Google Analytics.
  • Familiarity with CMS platforms like WordPress, Shopify, or Drupal, and plugins like Yoast or Rank Math.
  • Ability to read and edit HTML, CSS, and JavaScript related to SEO.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in competitive sectors such as e-commerce, SaaS, or finance.
  • Certifications in Google Analytics, Google Ads, or HubSpot Inbound Marketing.
  • Basic knowledge of content marketing, social media, or PPC.
