Job Description:

Purpose of the Job:

  1. To manage the medical store of NMC including dispensing prescribed medications to patients.
  2. To maintain the record of monthly purchases of medicines and fortnightly expenses on ledger.
  3. To maintain the Record of Demand and Supply of Medicines.
  4. To scrutinize and prepare the medicine bills given by the contractor for further process/payment.

Qualifications:

  1. Diploma in Dispenser from Punjab Medical Faculty Board / Armed Forces Institutes.

Experience:

  1. Minimum 10 Years of working experience in medical store of class A/B hospitals.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. To keep the Record of Demand and Supply of Medicines.
  2. To maintain the record of monthly purchases and fortnightly expenses on ledger.
  3. Ordering needed inventory when the existing stock runs low.

Skills:

  1. Excellent working skill with good knowledge of the relative field.

Training & Certifications:

  1. Certifications are required in the relative field.

Terms & Conditions:

  1. Candidates are required to attach scanned copies of their documents (Academics / Professional).
  2. Last education certificate/degree must be attested/verified by HEC.

Candidates may be considered ineligible for the post due to any of the following reasons:

  1. Weak academic profile / 3rd division in terminal degree (last degree).
  2. NUST employees with less than one year of service with NUST and / or absence of NOC from Head of Institution.
  3. In process of pursuing a required degree.
  4. Medically unfit.
  5. Only selected candidates will be contacted and issued offer letter.
  6. Candidates serving in Govt departments, Armed forces may apply through their respective parent department / organizations. Late / incomplete applications will be ignored. Only short-listed candidates will be considered / called for test / interview and no TA / DA will be admissible.
