Role Description


Join our team as a Shopify Plus Developer and help drive the success of our online platforms: Sentiments Express and Studio by TCS. We're looking for someone who's not just tech-savvy, but business-smart — someone who understands the Shopify Plus ecosystem deeply and knows how to connect the dots between user experience, performance metrics, business logic, and cross-functional execution.


Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain Shopify Plus stores (Sentiments Express and Studio by TCS), ensuring optimal performance and user experience.
  • Oversee daily operations of the storefronts from uptime to load speed to checkout flow.
  • Apply business rules and requirements accurately across product setup, pricing, promotions, checkout logic, and content updates.
  • Coordinate with design and marketing teams to implement seasonal campaigns, new pages, and updates.
  • Identify and troubleshoot issues related to apps, integrations, and store functionality.
  • Manage third-party integrations (e.g., payments, logistics, CRM, marketing tools).
  • Monitor and analyse site performance, traffic, and conversion metrics; propose and implement data-driven improvements.
  • Liaise with developers or partners for complex fixes or technical customizations.
  • Maintain documentation, backups, and QA/testing processes for all site changes.
  • Stay current on Shopify platform updates, new apps, and evolving e-commerce best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Proven experience managing Shopify stores — ideally on Shopify Plus.
  • Strong grasp of Shopify's architecture, theme management, app ecosystem, and how to implement business rules within the platform.
  • Technically capable: can diagnose issues, test changes, and manage technical collaborators, even if not coding directly.
  • Understanding of e-commerce UX, site speed optimization, and mobile responsiveness.
  • Analytical mindset: able to interpret data and translate insights into tangible improvements.
  • Strong project management and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills; able to coordinate across design, marketing, and tech teams.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Background in SEO or digital marketing.
