Education:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Design or related field; or equivalent work experience.

In a fast-growing environment, you'll work among talented engineers, product designers, marketing, and business leaders. The role requires a mix of technical depth, product thinking, and strategic drive.

Key Responsibilities & Deliverables:

  1. Working with a cloud-based microservices architecture to support and collaborate with the data platform.
  2. CI/CD pipelines and tools.
  3. Contribute to the design of the data platform.
  4. Automate infrastructure deployment as code.
Job Specification

Skills & Abilities:

  1. Strong understanding of the core concepts of DevOps, microservices, systems administration, and monitoring/alerting.
  2. Languages – Python, Java, Shell Scripting.
  3. Build tools – Gradle.
  4. Infrastructure Tools – Terraform, Chef.
  5. Container Infrastructure – Docker and Docker Compose, ECS.
  6. Databases – MongoDB, PostgreSQL, MS SQL Server.
  7. Elastic Stack – Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana.
  8. Source Control – Git and Bitbucket.
  9. Linux administration (Ubuntu, Fedora, and/or Amazon Linux).
  10. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail (Application behaviour, Networking, Security).
  11. Awareness of DevOps and Agile principles and methodologies of overcoming security weaknesses within these frameworks.
  12. Excellent organizational and time management skills, and the ability to work on multiple projects at the same time. Pragmatic approach to risk mitigation.
  13. Experience within Finance/Highly Regulated environments will give you an advantage.
  14. Fluency in English; other languages are a plus.
